Tomorrow, Saturday 22 April, is world Earth Day. It’s a chance for us to pause and consider the impact we are having on our planet. And an opportunity for us to make a change, big or small, to help make a difference and work towards a better future and healthier earth. Any act can make a difference, so ride your bike rather than getting in the car (and help reduce carbon dioxide emissions), decide not to use disposable plastics (take reusable bags with you to the shop), eat less meat (the meat industry generates huge amounts of greenhouse gases), plant a tree – or a grove (it’s the easiest way to fight climate change), or get out there and practice your geomancy!
Help to raise awareness of why this is such an important issue, as it is when more of us are aware of the impact our actions and way of living can have on the earth that we will see major change take place.
This year’s theme for Earth Day is environmental and climate literacy. As the Earth Day website says:
Education is the foundation for progress. We need to build a global citizenry fluent in the concepts of climate change and aware of its unprecedented threat to our planet. We need to empower everyone with the knowledge to inspire action in defense of environmental protection.
Come and join us at our workshops this year to learn more about geomancy and earth acupuncture, and how you can help make a difference and support the earth through her subtle energies. Empower yourself by learning new ways to take action.
